NESTING SCRAPSTORE TEAM LEADER (part time, three-year post)
Salary £21,840 per annum (pro rata 35 hours), 20 hours per week
We’re looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic team leader to support and mentor volunteers as well as coordinating Scrapstore trading activities.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Lead Scrapstore activities by supporting and coordinating volunteers
- Marketing and promotion of the Scrapstore
- Maintain and enhance the Scrapstore Facebook page
- Build relationships with other recycling centres
Previous experience of leading and/ or supervising workers/ volunteers plus strong communication skills are essential.
There is a requirement to work Sundays during Scrapstore opening hours (2-5pm), and Wednesdays (1-3pm), plus a need to be flexible to working other evenings/ weekend days. The post will be based at the Aald Skül, South Nesting. Some occasional travel across Shetland may be required, and therefore car access is essential (mileage allowance provided for this).
