The community defibrillator is now installed outside the Aald Skül in South Nesting and registered with The Circuit, the national defibrillator network.
A community defibrillator has now been installed outside the Aald Skül in South Nesting, following a priority identified through the Nesting, Girlsta and Wadbister Community Action Plan.
Where to find it
The defibrillator is in the bright yellow cabinet on the dark timber wall beside the main stone building at the Aald Skül, Vassa, South Nesting, ZE2 9PP. The photographs show the cabinet and its location.
Registered with The Circuit
Milford Georgeson registered the defibrillator with The Circuit, the national defibrillator network. This gives ambulance services information about its location and recorded availability when responding to a 999 call.
The equipment was purchased in July 2026, and the remaining installation work was confirmed complete on 5 October.
In an emergency
If someone is unresponsive and not breathing normally, call 999 immediately and follow the call handler’s instructions. Start CPR and, if someone else is there, ask them to fetch a defibrillator. If you are alone, do not leave the person to look for one.
You do not need training to use a defibrillator. It gives spoken instructions and checks whether a shock is needed. Read the British Heart Foundation’s guide to using a defibrillator.
