The Community Development Company of Nesting (CDCN) is a community-led organisation working to support and improve the communities of Nesting, Girlsta and Wadbister.
We manage the Aald Skül as a community hub, provide local facilities and services, support community groups and develop projects in response to priorities identified by local residents. We also work with funders and partner organisations to create new opportunities and maintain important community assets.
How we reinvest our income
As a community development organisation, CDCN reinvests the income it generates back into the organisation and the local community. This helps us operate, maintain and improve the facilities at the Aald Skül, support our services and staff, and develop community projects where resources allow.
Where income exceeds day-to-day costs, it is retained to strengthen CDCN’s resilience and support future maintenance, improvements and community projects.
